Visit Chain-Vey at Booth #1213

The Almond Conference is the premier annual gathering for growers, handlers and suppliers in the almond industry. Hosted by the Almond Board of California, the 2025 conference runs Wednesday – Friday, December 10–12 at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center in Sacramento, California. It draws thousands of participants; in 2024, more than 3,600 attendees from 23 countries and 42 states gathered to network and learn. The event combines a bustling trade show featuring nearly 240 domestic and international exhibitors with educational sessions led by researchers, regulators and industry leaders.

Modern Process Equipment will be on‑site, in Booth #1213 throughout the conference to showcase how our conveying and size‑reduction solutions can help processors get more value from their almonds. The conference is complimentary for all almond‑industry professionals, and registration is open now via the Almond Conference registration portal.

Why Attend the Almond Conference?

  • Networking and education. The conference fosters collaboration among growers, handlers, researchers and suppliers. Attendees consistently note that the chance to meet and talk with peers is one of the main draws.
  • Comprehensive trade show. With nearly 240 exhibitors spanning equipment, technology, products and services, the trade show is the centerpiece of the event. It’s an ideal environment to compare solutions and explore innovations.
  • Insightful sessions. Expect keynote presentations, panel discussions and technical seminars on topics such as sustainability, water regulations, pest management and global marketing. The 2025 conference will again feature a State of the Industry address led by Almond Board CEO Clarice Turner.

What to Expect in Our Booth

MPE’s equipment portfolio helps almond processors gently handle delicate kernels, achieve precise particle sizes and design efficient, hygienic plants. Visit our booth to see demonstrations and discuss how these solutions can support your operation:

  • Chain-Vey Tube Drag Conveyors — Chain‑Vey gently moves almonds and nut ingredients through any facility layout (horizontal, vertical or even between buildings) without breakage or dusting. The system’s sealed design keeps products clean and reduces cross‑contamination. Flexible routing, bi‑directional operation and multiple inlets/discharges allow you to connect roasters, blanchers and packaging lines seamlessly. Automated Clean‑in‑Place (CIP) options and FDA‑grade materials make Chain‑Vey easy to maintain.
  • Size-Reduction Equipment — For processors producing almond flour, almond meal or chopped almonds for ingredients, MPE’s precision grinders deliver narrow particle‑size distributions with minimal fines. The Gran‑U‑Lizer uses cut‑and‑shear milling to achieve uniform particles, while the Crack‑U‑Lator offers controlled cracking for coarse cuts. Both machines are designed for quick change‑over and easy cleaning, boosting yields and throughput.
  • Complete Process Systems — Beyond standalone machines, MPE engineers and integrates turnkey systems for almond processing. Whether you need a gentle conveying line from storage to roasting to grinding, or a fully automated plant with roasting, grinding, blending and packaging, our team can design and install a system tailored to your facility. Our engineers focus on hygienic design, reduced downtime and energy efficiency.
