MPE's IMD 69 series Gran-U-Lizer with optional integrated sifter (not shown) offers the highest degree of particle size accuracy attainable. Gradual reduction of only oversized particles virtually eliminate the generation of unwanted "fines". Remaining oversized particles are continuously recycled through the Gran-U-Lizer until they fall withing the desired target range.

Portable and "wash-down" safe - Portability and removable access panels allow for quick and easy "wash-down" in non-process areas. Nema 4X rated enclosure, motors and sensors are resistant to water penetration and corrosion.

Wide Range of finished particle sizes - Accurately machines 316 stainless steel rolls provide precise roll "nip" tolerances. Provides uniform particle size distribution, with up to 75% fewer unwanted fines when compared with other machine designs.

Uniform particle size distribution - Virtually infinite roll gap adjustment permits selection of a wide range of particle fineness from 4 mesh to 150 mesh.

Modular design - Each modular grinding section is driven by its own motor (up to 10 HP) and high torque drive belt. This modularity allows stacking of grinding sections providing optimal flexibility for each application.

Precision gap control - Unique pneumatic servomotor design with digital electronic control and indication. Allows rapid micro-adjustment of roll gaps for precision control of ground product size. Gap control to ± 0.0005" (0.01mm).

Rugged design and construction - Heavy construction provides: long service life, minimal vibration and maintained tolerances under extreme conditions. Standard heavy duty double spherical roller bearings ensure long trouble-free operation, yet provide for economical replacement.
