Modular
stacked design
- allows configuration to provide the ideal number of grinding
sections . . . provides flexibility and ease of service. MPEs
unique exchange head service, available for all MPE Granulizers,
ensures minimum downtime and eliminates spare roll requirements.
Precision roll corrugations - provide optimal coffee
bean reduction for every grind requirement, from coarse (urn)
to fine (espresso) grinds.
Variable speed power feeder - provides even distribution
of coffee beans into the nip of the grinding rolls . . . helps
to ensure proper particle size distribution and smooth operation.
Infinite gap control - allows for rapid change of grinds
and minute adjustments while unit is in operation. Spring-mounted
rolls prevent damage to rolls from foreign bodies.

Options
MPE Granulizers
are available with a number of equipment options to provide
more efficient operation and higher product quality, including
the following:
Water-cooled rolls and/or normalizer - removes excess
heat generated during the size reduction and normalizing process
. . . eliminates product degradation due to build-up of excessive
temperatures.
Pneumatic density control - continuously controls the
amount of "densification" that occurs in the normalizing
chamber . . . helps to meet the increasingly important bulk
density coffee product and packaging requirements.
Super oversized scalping screen - efficiently removes
oversized and unwanted material from the final product . .
. improves product quality and yield.
Independent Motor Drive (IMD) - allows complete roll
speed and output control on each section for increased production
on even the finest (espresso) grinds. High Torque Drive (HTD)
provides quiet, maintenance-free operation with a wide range
of roll speed and differential capabilities.
Automatic loop feeder and density controllers - continuous
feedback electronic controllers provide precision automatic
adjustment of feeder and pneumatic density control systems
. . . ensures proper mill loading, consistent high quality
product and optimal bulk density levels.
"Super-Fine" grind capability - enables Granulizer
to consistently provide the Super-Fine particle sizes popular
for espresso and other special coffee grinds.
