MPE Introduces the Gum Recovery Gran-U-Lizer™

Modern Process Equipment (MPE) introduces the Model IMD 99 Gum Recovery Gran-U-Lizer™, the first Gran-U-Lizer specifically designed to flatten and striate candy-coated gum tablets for internal re-work and recycle.

The special roll corrugations allow for high production rates and clean operation, in which the hard candy coating is broken and separated from the gum substrate. Thereafter, each component can be separated and re-introduced, at different phases, back into the production process.
