Chia Seed Grinder

(Chicago, IL) Modern Process Equipment Corporation (MPE) introduces the IMD 8 Chia Seed Gran-U-Lizer™. Using a unique, instantaneous grinding action, the IMD 8 grinder produces a fine grind on numerous oil seeds, including chia seed, without elevating product temperatures or turning the seeds into paste. Other Gran-U-Lizer features include water-cooling, proprietary “self-cleaning” teeth, wash-down construction and more. This technology breakthrough enables oil seed producers to achieve fine powder grinds, much finer than hammermill grinders, without product stickiness and gumming.

Typical capacities range from 2,000 – 4,000 lbs/hr., depending on the grind size setting. Larger and smaller versions are also available.
